Basic Scanning
- Staff opens scanner app
- Points camera at QR code
- Instant validation feedback
- Attendee enters
Speed: less than 1 second per scan
Validation Results
| Result | Display | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Valid | Green checkmark | Allow entry |
| Already Used | Yellow warning | Check ID, allow if multi-entry |
| Invalid | Red X | Deny entry, investigate |
| Wrong Event | Orange alert | Direct to correct event |
| Wrong Date/Time | Blue info | Check ticket validity period |
Result Details
Each scan shows:
- Attendee name
- Ticket type
- Purchase date
- Entry history
- Special notes
Entry Modes
Single Entry
Default mode - one admission per ticket.
Use for:
- Concerts
- Theater shows
- Single-session events
Behavior:
- First scan: ✅ Valid
- Second scan: ⚠️ Already used
- Override available for staff
Multi-Entry
Allow in/out privileges.
Use for:
- Multi-day festivals
- All-day events
- Events with outdoor areas
Settings:
- Unlimited re-entry
- Limited re-entry (set max)
- Time-based cooldown
Session-Based
Different time slots for same ticket.
Use for:
- Museum tickets (any time today)
- Workshops (morning or afternoon)
- Flexible scheduling
Configuration:
- Set valid time windows
- Capacity per session
- Session switching rules
Zone-Based
Different access areas per ticket type.
Use for:
- VIP vs. General sections
- Multi-stage festivals
- Restricted areas
Setup:
- Create zones
- Assign to ticket types
- Configure zone scanners
Flexibility: Mix entry modes - VIP multi-entry, General single-entry for same event.
